Baking lives better

What?

We are based just off Brick Lane, East London and started off in 2013. We honed our trade selling cakes to local businesses.  After a couple of years our cakes were going down so well locally, we decided to start selling online too.

What makes us even better, is that all our cakes are baked by people who used to be homeless. We train them up to help them find work and get their confidence back.

How?

We prioritise sourcing local products and have a rooftop garden where we grow much of our own produce.

We do our bit to look after the environment (no big nasty delivery trucks, minimal packaging). And use fruit and veg as much as possible. So all in all, you get a guilt-free treat. And socially motivated gifts and treats are pretty in right now, so it's a sure-fire winner all round.

Who?

We’re part of a great charity – Providence Row. Based in the East End for 150 years, we empower people. We help them find housing, and help them stay in it too. We tackle the root causes of homelessness (substance misuse, mental health) and get people on their feet and into work again. You can see our impact report here.

We are a social enterprise, that's part of an amazing charity, Providence Row. We rely on the support of dedicated individuals to ensure that we can continue to offer excellent support to people experiencing homelessness. If you're able to donate a little, we'll love you forever!
